Bringing together contemporary authors, and the sprechbohrer ensemble, with their respective subject-specific requirements, warrants intensive collaboration and exchange. Separating artistic creation and public presentation is a massive and fundamental change of the role of the authors, which calls for a great deal of trust towards the musical interpreters. The challenge for the musicians lies especially in the precise notation, and concerns a discipline that the authors, in contrast to the composers, don‘t possess. As a result, the crossing over of a speech-literary idea of an author to a binding notation, which serves as a dependable basis for the musical interpreters, requires an intensive personal interdisciplinary cooperation between author and musicians, equally dealing with aesthetic questions as well as technical demands. This takes place in three intensive workshops, which leave sufficient time for personal cooperation on the individual pieces, besides the technical transfer of knowledge.
